About Me

I began a healthcare career 40 years ago.  First by attending to the elderly as a nursing assistant.  Then as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an acute rehabilitation setting educating patients and assisting in their recovery.  Following a health care crisis at age 28, I searched for answers to restore my health and found the healing power of herbs.

I then studied CranioSacral Therapy through Upledger Institute after seeing the profound effect it had on my second childs recovery after an auto accident.  Completing CST1, CST2, SER1, SER2, Brain1, Brain 2, teacher assist CST1,CST2 and have been a support therapist in multiple comprehensive therapy programs.

There I fell in love with acupuncture and have since completed my Bachelors in Science at Empire State College, Master's Level Diploma in Acupuncture at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine and recieved my doctorate in acupuncture and herbal medicine (DAHM) from Daoist Traditions College of Medical Arts in NC.  I am currently Licensed in Pennsylvania, and I am Nationally Certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Acupuncture.

I am Certified in Aroma Freedom Technique and use essential oils to facilitate a deeper inner awareness when appropriate.

Another modality that may be incorporated into your session is Heart Centered Therapy, a dialogue technique that has the ability to help clear the emotional aspect and to give clarity to patterns that may be negatively affecting your life.
